Experiential-Humanistic

My work style is centered on “what is here and now”. We learn from direct experience during the session. Why should we read volumes about the zoo experience if we can just go there and interact with the animals? Experiential means trying on new ways of being in session, and noticing how they affect us, specially at body level. This is a more efficient and direct way for transformation. This is also empowering because this tool can be taken home and used right away.

My humanistic approach comes from forming an authentic collaborative and egalitarian relationship with the client. I try to avoid pathologizing and judging and instead promote empathic understanding and genuineness. I really try to “walk the talk”.
